I have new MAC with BigSur 11.4 - cannot open any TIF with preview, message says It may be damaged or uses a file extension that Preview does not support, color sync - same thing.
The same files display on WIN10 OS, no problem. So my questions are: What ap on MAC can now open TIF files? Why doesn't preview work like it did on previous versions of MAC? Is this a known issue? This is my work laptop, had MAC's for 13 years, need this feature, has anyone figured it out?

Does intaglio really open .cwf files from AppleWorks? Hello all - I have a mid-2011 iMac running 10.13.6. I can also run 10.6.8 from a separate disk, which I need to do to work with my Appleworks .cwk files, mostly the drawing files. I've finally decided to get off my butt and get a current drawing program so I don't have to go back to my 10.6.8. I have iWork'09, but it does not do the drawing files. I've heard there are a few drawing programs which can read cwk files, of which Intaglio seems to be the runaway favorite. So I downloaded and installed their demo version, from both their website and via AppStore, but neither version will read cwk files. Am I missing something? Or do I have to go ahead and buy their $89 version to work with my AppleWorks drawings? Thanks ahead for any thoughts/suggestions. TheOldFart
Need Help w/Preview, doesn't seem to work right Please bear with me as I'm lost on the terminology here. But I have a MacBook Pro with macOS Mojave. There's a program called Preview which allows me to view documents, images etc. I can also, to an extent, edit or "mark up" these files. But something doesn't seem to be working right. When I add something in color it saves, but the color is removed. For example, a list of names in which I drew a red rectangle that's transparent in the center around one specific name. Once saved the red rectangle turns gray scale, which in my case, defeats the purpose of doing it. How do I do this and get it to save the image with the color rather than replaced the color with gray? Thanks in advance to anyone who has any ideas!
